GUESS WHAT....CHANGE AGENTS?
Do you have a positive idea or community project that needs a boost?
Apply for a Be the Change community action grant and make it happen!
Starting this summer, Be the Change Savannah will connect middle and high school students to grants and coaching to lead their own Be the Change community projects. These projects should strive to positively impact academics, the arts, the environment, health and/or hunger and homelessness.
The maximum grant award is $250 per project.
Teens who meet the following guidelines can apply for a Be the Change grant:

Be enrolled and in good standing at a Savannah Chatham County public middle or high school.

Have parent permission and an adult coach to help oversee the community project.

Lead a project that impacts one of the following areas:
Improving Academic Performance
Using the Arts for Social Change
Improving the Environment
Increasing Fitness and Nutrition
Helping the Hungry and Homeless

Use the form on this page to submit a brief description of your project. Our team will review your idea and invite you to submit an application that includes a budget for the requested grant funds.

Attend an orientation session for grant winners.

Share project updates on Be the Change social media.

Submit a progress report with receipts for all grant funds used for the project.
